Zavodnik ranked No. 28 in D1 Softball Preseason Top 100
Violet Zavodnik ranked No. 28 in the D1Softball.com Preseason Top 100 Player Rankings

PROVO, Utah — BYU softball outfielder Violet Zavodnik was named to the D1Softball.com Preseason Top 100 Player Rankings list, the outlet announced. 

A five-foot-eight junior out of Murrieta, California, Zavodnik came in at No. 28 in the rankings. She led the team last season in hits (61), RBI (59), runs (49) and home runs (19), finishing second in batting average, hitting .399. 

The Cougars kick off their 2023 season next month in Mexico at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. View the full list of Top 100 rankings at the D1Softball website.
