SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Arissa Paulson was named West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row, the conference announced Monday.

Paulson recorded two wins in the three games she started this week. She struck out a career-high 11 batters against Loyola Marymount, pitching a complete game, allowing only one run and no walks. During the week, the right-hander threw 16 innings with 14 strikeouts, scattered nine hits and allowed four runs for a 1.75 ERA.

This is the second time that a BYU player has earned weekly awards in back-to-back weeks. Rylee Jensen was named Player of the Week earlier in the season. BYU has now earned eight weekly awards this season.
