Jensen named WCC Player of the Week for second week in a row
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second week in a row, Rylee Jensen was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Jensen played and started all five games at left field in the Mary Nutter tournament. She tallied her fourth homer of the season as well as two RBI against Nebraska while going 2 for 4 at the plate. Against No. 4 Oklahoma, the Idaho native recorded a double and scored a run in BYU’s win against UCSB.
This is BYU's third weekly award of the 2019 season. Jensen and Autumn Moffat earned Player and Pitcher of the Week last week. This is Jensen's fifth career Player of the Week award.
