SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After four run-rule wins last week, BYU softball swept the West Coast Conference weekly awards for the fifth time this season with McKenna Bull winning WCC Pitcher of the Week and Rylee Jensen taking the WCC Player of the Week honor.

This is Bull’s seventh WCC Pitcher of the Week nod of the year. For the two-time WCC Pitcher of the Year, this is the 18th honor of her career. Jensen, a freshman outfielder, picks up her second career WCC Player of the Week award.

In three games pitched, Bull did not allow a single run in three wins with 20 strikeouts and just six walks, helping extend BYU's 15-game win streak. She held her opponents to a .173 batting average over the three victories. In the opening game of the series against San Diego, Bull picked up career-win 100 after throwing a complete-game shutout with six strikeouts. She has now pitched 36.2-straight scoreless innings, a BYU record. She last gave up a run on April 5 against Utah State.

Over the four wins last week, Jensen led BYU with a .667 batting average, tallying 12 RBI, eight runs and three home runs. In the doubleheader against San Diego on Friday, she hit a walk-off home run in both games to earn run-rule wins after five innings. In the first game of that doubleheader, Jensen notched a career-high five RBI. Her efforts led the Cougars to their first WCC series sweep in program history where all wins were run-rule wins. She had a .786 on-base percentage over the four games after being walked five times in addition to her 6-of-9 hitting.
