Hill to compete in consolation draw at ITA All-American
TULSA, Okla. – BYU's Sean Hill continues to play at the ITA All-American in the singles consolation draw.
“We know Sean can compete with anybody in the entire country and today’s match was no different,” BYU assistant coach Aidan Carrazedo said. “The opportunity was there, we just couldn’t execute down the stretch.”
Hill faced the No. 9 singles player in the nation and the No. 5 seed in the tournament, Jack Lin of Columbia University, in the singles main draw. Despite a strong effort, Hill fell 6-2, 6-3, to Lin.
With the loss, Hill will compete in the consolation draw with his sights set on extending his stay at the tournament.
