The Cougar swimming teams will face the Rebels of UNLV at the pools in Vegas on Saturday, November 13. The women will swim against the Aztecs of San Diego State in a rematch from the week before on Friday, November 12.

The men are coming off a bye week after having beaten the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame the week before. The Cougars stand at No. 22 in the polls right now and will look to improve on the ranking in the first conference match-up of the season. During that week, senior diver Scott Randall garnered Mountain West Conference diver of the week after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events against the Irish.

The women are looking to beat the Aztecs twice in one week after beating SDSU in Albuquerque 169-55 on Thursday, November 4. The Cougars also posted 1,122 to the Aztecs' 525 at the Lobo Invitational last weekend. The women saw strong performances from freshmen U-nice Chan and Jamie Bloom who both posted wins in their first collegiate meets. Brittany Davis also had a great showing winning four individual events over the three days the women competed.

The UNLV women have been struggling this year and are still searching for their first win of the season. The Rebels began the year with losses at Arizona State and the University of Utah. The UNLV men, on the other hand, posted wins in both meets.

San Diego State have posted wins against the Air Force Academy and Loyola Marymount. The Aztecs have lost to New Mexico and Utah, and will look to out swim the Cougars after last weekends' meets in Albuquerque.
