Cougars set to take on Utes in relays
PROVO, Utah — The 2022-2023 season will officially begin this Friday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. MDT as the BYU swim and dive teams will take on in-state rival Utah in a relay meet at the Richards Building Pool.
The meet will include a variety of different relays and strokes, with divers participating in some of the relay events as well. Both the men's and women's teams will compete in this non-scored exhibition that will not count towards either teams regular season standings.
Traditionally, the relay between the Utes and Cougars has offered highly entertaining events and an opportunity for both teams to compete in a fun environment. BYU will face Utah in a regular season matchup later this season at the Ute Natatorium, Jan. 27 and 28, 2023.
Including the Blue/White meet and the Alumni meet, this will be the third of six events that will be hosted at the Richards Building Pool in Provo, Utah. The event offers free admission to the public.
