BYU swim and dive to take on Utah in relay meet
BYU swim and dive will travel to Salt Lake City this Saturday to take on in-state rival Utah in a relay meet at 11 a.m. MDT at the Ute Natatorium.
“This meet is a really fun way to start out the season,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “The meet will give us a chance to practice our relay exchanges and showcase the divers. Overall, I think this will be a great way for our team to get the season started and will be an opportunity for the whole team to have some fun.”
BYU will travel both its men’s and women’s teams to compete in the non-scored exhibition. Events will include a mixed 4x50 freestyle relay, a mixed 4x50 diver relay and a mixed distance medley relay. Although the meet will not count towards regular season standings, BYU will face the Utes again in a regular season matchup in Provo on January 26, 2016.
The relay meet will offer free admission to fans and will be open to the public. For Cougar fans that want to attend, directions to the Ute Natatorium can be found on the BYU Cougars website.
