PROVO, Utah – Junior Jake Taylor won his third Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Male Athlete of the Week award for his performance at the Texas Invite Dec. 4-6.

Taylor set new BYU records in the 100-yard backstroke (45.95) and 200 back (1:40.51). His 100 back time was the fastest in the nation at the time of the event and is still the third fastest time in the country this season. Taylor previously won the award for the weeks of Oct. 8 and Nov.12. His three weekly awards are a conference high.
