Four compete at U.S. Open
Cougar juniors Jordan Fletcher and Brent Murray joined BYU sophomores David Armstrong, Hayden Palmer at the U.S. Open swimming meet last week at Irvine, Calif.
“I am so proud of our swimmers who were able to reach such a high level to compete against the best in the country and world at the U.S. Open,” BYU coach John Brooks said. “I hope we can continue to have even more of a showing at the U.S. Open and Nationals in the future.”
Palmer competed for his Riverside Aquatics club team in three events and reached the night qualifying in the 400 individual medley last Thursday. Armstrong, Fletcher and Murray competed for the Cougar Aquatics team, representing BYU.
