Purser named Golfweek's college player of the week

PROVO, Utah -- Sophomore Devon Purser was named Golfweek's men's collegiate player of the week after winning last week's SCVB Pacific Invitational.
Purser fired a 54-hole total 197 (68-65-64) and birdied the final hole to defeat Alex Edfort of Pacific by one stroke. Last week's victory marks Purser's first individual tournament title.
