Blair Named WCC Player of the Month

PROVO, Utah—After shooting nine rounds of par or better, BYU star Zac Blair has been named the West Coast Conference golfer of the month for April.

Blair’s best round came in the ASU Thunderbird Invitational where he shot a first-round 66. With back-to-back rounds of 71, the Ben Hogan Watch List nominee finished 5-under and tied for fifth.

The BYU junior followed up the fifth place with a fourth-place finish at the WCC championships after carding a 5-under 211. Blair saved his best golf of the month for last when he shot a 7-under 209 in the PING Cougar Classic.

Blair leads the team and is third in the nation in stroke average at 70.52.
