Cougars in Fifth After Day One

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --The BYU men's golf team shot a 6-over in both rounds of play Friday in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, putting them in fifth place after one day of competition.

After a first-round 69 (-3), Zac Blair shot a 2-under 70 on in the second round, moving into 1st place overall. Freshman, Devon Purser (+4) is next on the leader board for the Cougars, tied for 20th. This is the Cougars first tournament of the season.
