Blair Named Division I PING All-Region
PROVO, Utah -- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Tuesday that BYU sophomore Zac Blair was named to the Division I PING All-Region West Team.
Blair, who finished tied for 25th at the NCAA Southwest Arizona Regional, led the Mountain West Conference with a 71.33 stroke average. Blair's first-career individual championship came at the PING Cougar Classic in April after overcoming a five-shot deficit in the final round, totaling an 11-under 205.
Blair joins 24 other golfers on the West Team and 152 players across six regions nationally. The MWC was represented by six golfers on the West Region Team.
