Blair Four Over at Southwest Regional

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Representing BYU as an independent golfer, Zac Blair shot a 4-over 75 Thursday in round one of the NCAA Southwest-Arizona Regional at the OMNI Tucson National Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona.

Blair tallied three birdies including two in his final five holes to move into a tie for 53rd place, just 11 strokes behind Matt Hansen of UC Davis, who shot a 7-under 64 to gain possession of first place.

Mountain West Conference foe San Diego State shot a 6-under 278 on day one to move into first place in front of Washington and Liberty.

Day two of the three-day tournament begins Friday at 9:20 am MT with Blair teeing off at 11 am MT. Follow the action live by visiting www.golfstat.com.
