Blair Leads Cougars in Round Two

HONOLULU -- Zac Blair shot a 2-over 74 Thursday as the BYU men's golf team finished second-round play of the John Burns Intercollegiate tied for 12th place.

Blair, who finished round one tied for 48th place overall, carded three birdies on the par-72 Arnold Palmer Course at the Turtle Bay Resort to move into a tie for 44th place.

The Cougars, who recorded three-consecutive top-10 finishes to end fall competition, are looking for their first top-10 finish of the spring after a finishing 12th at the Arizona Intercollegiate in January.

Coming into round two tied for eighth place, senior Cameron Edens shot a 4-over 76 and slipped into tie for 34th place going into the final round. Freshman Cole Ogden followed up a first-round 72 with a 9-over 81 and moved into a tie for 59th place overall.

Junior Daniel Reid heads into round three in a tie for 70th place after a second-round 78. Esteban Calisto, a senior, is tied for 75th after a second-round 81.
