Men's golf in Albuquerque for first fall tournament
PROVO, Utah (Sept. 12, 2007) ? Fall golf is set to begin this weekend for the BYU men?s golf team as they compete in the William H. Tucker Invitational on Sept. 14-15.
The Invitational will be played on the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, and is hosted by the University of New Mexico.
The par 72 Championship Course is 7,354 yards. Each teams will play 36 continues holes with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start on Friday, and 18 holes with tee times on Saturday.
Bruce Brockbank, Coach of the Year in the Southwest Region, and MWC Coach of the Year, enters his 15th season at the helm of the men?s program. This year?s team is made up of one freshman, six sophomores and one junior player. Last season, the team won the MWC title and competed in the NCAA West Region.
