BYU Men's golf team in second at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.

BYU's seventh-ranked men's golf team is in second place after two round of the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.

Strong 30-40 m.p.h. winds and an extremely difficult course caused BYU to shoot its highest round of the season (302). The Cougars, behind the play of the Miller brothers, Andy, Scott and Todd, came back to shoot a 299 for the second round. BYU trails San Diego State by five strokes heading into the final day. The tournament is being played at La Purisima Golf Course 30 miles north of Santa Barbara, California a one-time site of PGA Tour school qualifying events.
