PROVO, Utah — After a historic win in Hawaii, No. 35 BYU men's golf will seek its second win of the 2022-23 season at the Lamkin San Diego Classic, March 6-7 at San Diego Country Club.

"It’s always hard to know how a team or a player will respond after an unbelievable performance line we had in Hawaii," said BYU director of golf Todd Miller. "We have been asking the guys to stay hungry in their practice, to stay patient on the course and to continue to believe in their ability to shoot low numbers."

Carson Lundell, David Timmins, Zac Jones, Tyson Shelley and Keanu Akina will tee it up for the Cougars in the 54-hole championship at the 7,033-yard par 72 San Diego Country Club.

The Cougars will join a 15-team field that includes host No. 30 San Diego State, California, No. 20 Colorado State, Denver, Hawai'i, LMU, Nevada, New Mexico, Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco, UCLA, No. 34 Washington and Wyoming.

"We have had some solid performances at this tournament recently, but are looking to get back in the win column this week."

Live scoring for the championship will be available at golfstat.com.
