Carson Lundell wins inaugural Rocky Mountain Amateur

ERIE, Colo. – BYU golfer Carson Lundell shot nine-under over the final 16 holes of the tournament to win the inaugural Rocky Mountain Amateur this week at the Colorado National Golf Club.

Lundell forced a playoff hole after shooting an 8-under 65 in regulation. A six-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole gave Lundell the win over fellow Utahn Connor Howe. 

From Alpine, Utah, Lundell finished the tournament with a 16-under, 200, including his 65 in the final round to go along with his 66 and 69 in the first two rounds, respectively.
