BYU Announces Signing of South African Golfer

PROVO, Utah — BYU men’s golf announced the signing of Johannesburg, South Africa native Angus Klintworth on Tuesday.

Klintworth competed in several Inter-Provincial Tournaments in South Africa, winning the under-15 and under-17 championships. He has recorded wins in various Central Gauteng Golf Union tour events, state foursome events and Junior Africa Challenges.

Klintworth also placed in the top-15 in multiple World Teen Championships and Junior Venice Opens. In 2018, he qualified and played for the National Challenge Cup Team.

Klintworth will join the Cougars for the fall 2020 season.
