LIHUE, Hawai'i – No. 32 BYU men's golf will play in the John A. Burns Invitational beginning Wednesday at Wailua Golf Course.

"The guys are determined to get back and be in contention," BYU head coach Bruce Brockbank said. "We've struggled at Wailua the last few years but hope we can get the short game going to shoot some good scores."

Teams will play three 18-hole rounds over three days of play on the par-72, 6,991-yard course. The field of 20 includes five top-50 teams, with No. 42 Saint Mary's among BYU's opponents.

Last year at the John A. Burns Invitational, the Cougars placed ninth. Junior Peter Kuest led current BYU golfers with a one-over to finish tied for 31st.

Live scoring and a leaderboard will be available at GolfStat.com.
