Cougars back to Arizona for National Invitation Tournament
PROVO, Utah — BYU men's golf will participate in the National Invitation Tournament at the Omni Tucson National-Catalina Course in Tucson, Arizona on Feb. 27-28.
The Cougars look to claim their first win of the spring season on the par-72 7,200-yards course. BYU placed fourth at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate on Feb. 15-17, with Patrick Fishburn finishing in the top 10.
Sixteen teams will participate in the event—Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Colorado State, Iowa State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Notre Dame, Princeton, San Jose State, UNLV, UTEP and Wyoming. West Coast Conference opponents San Francisco and Santa Clara will also compete alongside BYU. In-state foe Utah will also participate in the event.
First and second round action will take place on Feb. 27, followed by final round play concluding on Feb. 28. Both days will begin with an 8 a.m. MST shotgun start.
