Final tournament of fall season in California

PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s golf concludes its fall season in Stockton, California participating in the Pacific Invitational Oct. 27-29 at the Stockton Golf and Country Club.

Along with West Coast Conference opponent and host Pacific, the Cougars will be facing Sacramento State, Seattle University, Long Beach State, Grand Canyon, Boise State, Temple, CS Bakersfield, CS Riverside, CSUN, Fullerton, and Denver.

Over a three-day period, teams will play three rounds of 18 holes at the par 71 Stockton Golf and Country Club.

The Cougars finished in 11th place out of 15 teams at last year's event while Patrick Fishburn tied for eighth place overall. In 2013, BYU took first place. Devon Purser took first individually in the 2012 Pacific Invitational, with Clay Ogden winning it in 2006.

The teams will tee off Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT. Live stats can be found on the BYU men’s golf schedule page.
