Cougars to participate in John A. Burns Intercollegiate
PROVO, Utah - BYU men's golf will play in the John H. Burns Intercollegiate this Wednesday through Friday, Feb. 18-20, at the Wailua Golf Course in Lihu'e, Kaua'i.
The tournament, which is hosted by the University of Hawai'i, will feature 16 teams, including BYU-Hawai'i. Fellow West Coast Conference member Santa Clara will also participate. The Cougars will play 18 holes each day.
In the Burns Intercollegiate last season, BYU took second place behind Justin Keiley's first-place finish (-10). Current senior Jordan Rodgers finished that tournament in a tie for 48th place (+3).
The Cougars are coming off of a ninth-place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate. Rodgers led the team with a 10th-place individual finish by shooting one-under-par, including 68 in the first round.
