ARGYLE, Texas – Behind three top-10 finishes, BYU women's golf improved two spots in the final round to take fourth in The Bruzzy at Lantana Golf Club.

"I'm happy with how we played this week," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. " It's nice to see us put it together. I'm proud of Rose (Huang), Naomi (Soifua) and Allysha Mae (Mateo) for finishing in the Top 10."

Rose Huang tied for sixth overall with a three-under. Naomi Soifua and Allysha Mae Mateo both shot under par on the final day to tie for eighth with an overall score of two-under.

Annick Haczkiewicz improved 11 spots in the third round to wind up tied for 39th at five-over. Anna Kennedy posted an 18-over for the tournament.

The Cougars (-2) sat in sixth place after Monday's first two rounds but battled tough conditions to end up as one of four teams to finish under par. They were one of just three teams to shoot under 300 all three rounds (285, 285, 292) and had the second-best final-round score.

Baylor finished atop the leaderboard with a score of 10-under.

BYU has a couple of weeks to prepare for the West Coast Conference Championship, which begins on April 18.
