Kemp in October 1984 in Pocatello, Idaho ... parents are Dr. Larry and Sydnee Kemp of Pocatello, Idaho ... father and brother played football at BYU ... married Caleb Pinegar in the summer of 2006 ... loves basketball, track, photography, traveling, waterskiing, wakeboarding, snow skiing, hiking and camping ... started playing volleyball in the sixth grade ... elementary education major.

Club: Played for the Players Volleyball Club ... helped her club place third in the National Junior Olympics held in Atlanta (2003) ... member of the USA Developmental Team in 2001.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Century and Skyline high schools ... named first-team all-state, first-team all-district, team captain and MVP in 2002 ... started as a freshman in 1999 ... sat out 2001 season because of a torn ACL ... also lettered four years in soccer, three years in basketball and one year in track and field ... all-state in soccer and team captain in 2002 ... MVP of Las Vegas Invitational soccer tournament ... was valedictorian and ranked 6 of 259 in her senior class ... photography editor of school newspaper ... coached by Debbie Farnsworth.
