Out of 49 swimmers, Cribbs earned 26th place in the preliminary round. This was Cribbs' second time qualifying for the NCAA Championships after making the cut in 2020. However, since the 2020 Championships were canceled due to COVID-19 this was Cribbs' first time actually competing in the Championship.
"I just had a goal to go out there and be relaxed and to have fun, and I feel like I was able to make the corrections I wanted to and accomplish those goals," said Kennedy on her experience in North Carolina. "I'm excited to be able to hopefully go back next year with experience and improve upon my performance from this year."
Tomorrow, Katie McBratney will be competing in the 100-yard breaststroke with live coverage on ESPN3.
