Getting ready for MPSF

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Cal. — The BYU swimming and diving teams will head to California Polytechnic State University from Feb. 16-20. for the 11th annual Mountain Pacific Sports Federations championship meet. 

Brynn Sproul’s 200 back (1:59.95) and Katie McBratney’s 400 IM (4:21.27) lead the conference for the women. The Cougars also have the MPSF’s top female divers this year in Adia London (3M) and Kennedy Cribbs (1M, platform), who are both zone qualifiers.

The women's schedule is as follows:

Diving

Tuesday:

  • 3m Prelim — 12:30-2 p.m. PST
  • 3m Final — 2:15-2:45 p.m. PST

Wednesday:

  • 1m Prelim — 9:30-11 a.m. PST
  • 1m Final — 11:15-11:45 a.m. PST

Swimming

Wednesday:

  • 200-yd Medley Relay — after National Anthem at 4:15 p.m. PST
  • 800-yd Freestyle Relay Final
  • Time Trials

Thursday:

  • 500-yd Freestyle Final — after National Anthem at 10 a.m. PST
  • 200-yd IM Final
  • 50-yd Freestyle Final
  • 200-yd Freestyle Relay Final
  • Time Trials

Friday:

  • 100-yd Fly Final — after National Anthem at 10 a.m. PST
  • 400-yd IM Final
  • 200-yd Free Final
  • 100-yd Breast Final
  • 100-yd Back Final
  • 400-yd Medley Relay Final
  • Time Trials

Saturday:

  • 1650-yd Freestyle (W) Final — after National Anthem at 10 a.m. PST
  • 200-yd Back (W) Final

  • 20 minute break
