Cribbs Named MPSF Female Athlete of the Week
PROVO, Utah (Nov. 24, 2020) — BYU junior Kennedy Cribbs was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Female Athlete of the Week today for her performance in the Mizzou Invitational last week.
Cribbs advanced to the finals in all three diving events. She finished runner-up in the 1-meter (276.00) and 3-meter (313.40) and placed third on the platform (227.00). Cribbs earned her NCAA zone cut in the 1-meter and 3-meter as well.
Cribbs, from Sammamish, Washington, was named to the All-MPSF first team in the 1-meter and 3-meter events last year. She also earned Academic All-MSPF and CSCAA All-American honors. This is Cribbs' first MPSF Female Athlete of the Week award.
