Cougars Travel to Colorado for Intermountain Shootout
PROVO, UTAH – The BYU swim and dive teams kick off their regular season in Grand Junction, Colorado, where Colorado Mesa University will host the Intermountain Shootout on Oct. 5-6 at the El Pomar Natatorium.
“This is the first real meet of the season and we have always swam well early on,” said head coach John Brooks. “We are looking forward to seeing how the last few weeks of hard work pay off and what we will have to show for it.”
The Cougars will be competing against the Colorado Mesa men and women, the Air Force men and the Colorado State women.
The first meet will begin on Friday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. MDT. The events will continue the next morning on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 10:30 a.m. MDT. Live stats can be found on the schedule page and a live video feed can be found here.
