PROVO, Utah– BYU women’s swim will take on Oregon State this Saturday at 11 a.m. PST at the Stevens Natatorium in Corvallis, Ore.

“Oregon State is a really good team and we are looking forward to some fast races,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. "This will be our first women’s team meet at sea level, so hopefully we can post some faster times. Their team has some really fast swimmers, and we hope to take some of the momentum from the strong finish we had at the UC Davis meet.”

The team will look to compete after a big win against UNLV and a close loss to UC Davis last weekend. Freshman Kelly Hatanaka and sophomore Vanessa Moffatt, who were top performers for the Cougars in last week’s meets, will look to improve on some fast times to push BYU to another win.

The meet will start Saturday at 11 a.m. PST. BYU fans living in the area are encouraged to attend and support the Cougars. The meet will take place at the Stevens Natatorium in the on-campus Dixon Recreation Center at Oregon State.
