BYU men’s and women’s swim and dive named as CSCAA Scholar All-America teams

PROVO, Utah–Both BYU men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were recognized as College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams.

“It’s always a nice honor,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “It’s nice to be recognized and should always be our goal to be a top team with one of the highest GPAs in the country.”

The men's team made the list at No. 31 of 92 total men’s teams, with a GPA of 3.24. The women’s team was listed at 123 out of 172 total women’s teams, with a GPA of 3.30.

In order to qualify for the CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition, a team must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the course of the spring semester.
