More online, national awards for BYU
PROVO, Utah - Members of the BYU women's soccer team received more recognition this week for their outstanding efforts throughout the season.
Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall has been added to the fan ballot for the Soccer News Net College Boot, given to the Player of the Year in Division I soccer. Voting goes through Dec. 15 and accounts for 40 percent of the total award.
Cutshall was also named a Senior CLASS First Team All-American. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
In TopDrawerSoccer.com's Team of the Season, Cutshall was named to the First Team and Cloee Colohan was named to the Third Team on the Upperclassmen list. On the Freshman list, Michele Murphy was named to the First Team.
In CollegeSportsMadness.com's All-America Teams, Erica Owens was named to the Second Team and Cutshall was named to the Third Team with Murphy named as the Freshman of the Year.
