KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced its 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire Women’s NCAA Division I All-America Teams and included BYU women's soccer seniors Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall and Jessica Ringwood on its list of honorees.

Cutshall has been named to the 2012 NSCAA All-America First Team for her third All-America citation and as just the third BYU women's soccer player to receive first team honors at the All-America level. In 1999, Maren Hendershot was named a first team All-American and in 2003 the same honor was given to Aleisha Cramer Rose.

After leading BYU to its first NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance in nine years, Cutshall was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. She anchored a BYU defense that allowed just 13 goals all season and just two games all year with a 1+ goal performance by its opponent. Cutshall tallied three goals, two assists and 30 shots from the back line and was also named a semifinalist for the 2012 MAC Hermann Trophy, the highest honor given to a Division I soccer athlete.

Ringwood has been named to the 2012 NSCAA All-America Second Team after leading the team with nine goals and 87 shots while also contributing three assists. She was named the WCC September Player of the Month and was included on the All-WCC First Team after her efforts on BYU's offense led the team to out-score their opponents 51-13 on the year and rank their scoring offense at 26th in the NCAA.

BYU finished the year at its winningest season in program history with a 20-2-2 record and a run to the NCAA College Cup Elite Eight after winning outright the WCC title.
