Colohan named Player of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. - BYU women's soccer junior Cloee Colohan was named this week's West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the first player to receive this honor from BYU this season.
Colohan led the fifth-ranked Cougars to a pair of wins last week, notching two game-winning goals. Colohan scored twice for BYU in a 4-1 victory at defending co-champion San Diego. Two days later, Colohan notched the first tally of the game in a 5-0 victory over Saint Mary's - BYU's eighth shutout this season.
Colohan has scored four goals this season - all in the last four matches.
This week, TopDrawerSoccer.com also included Colohan on their Team of the Week as one of just five Division I midfielders on the list.
With the wins last week, BYU improved to 16-1-1 on the season and 5-0-1 in WCC play to stay in first place.
The Cougars play two away games this week as they wrap up conference play. On Thursday they play at Loyola Marymount and on Saturday they play at Pepperdine.
