Ringwood named WCC Player of the Month
PROVO, Utah - BYU women's soccer player Jessica Ringwood has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Month for September.
The senior helped to lead the No. 6 Cougars to a perfect 8-0 record through the month of September by contributing a team-high five goals and 31 shots.
This is the first season BYU has won all its games in September since the 1997 season when they went 9-0.
Ringwood netted a season-high two goals against No. 6 Penn State on 9/8 and season-high five shots on three different occasions in September. Ringwood played 674 minutes, in all eight games, while helping the Cougars out-score their opponents 21-3.
