PROVO, Utah – Following another successful week for the No. 6 BYU women’s soccer team, members of the team have been recognized nationally for their efforts.
Junior goalkeeper Erica Owens recorded her seventh shutout of the season, and third straight, last week against Utah Valley University in a 1-0 final. Last season the team recorded five total shutouts. Owens was named the Madness West Coast Conference player of the week from CollegeSportsMadness.com, an online destination that covers all aspects of sports.
Seniors Lindsi Lisonbee Cutshall and Carlee Payne Holmoe were listed on TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Midseason Top 100 players in Division I soccer.
Senior Jessica Ringwood and sophomore Jaiden Thornock join Cutshall and Holmoe on TopDrawerSoccer.com’s Midseason Top 20 West Coast Conference performers.
