PROVO, Utah – Now on a nine-game winning streak, the BYU women's soccer team found itself again ranked in every major Division I soccer poll for the fourth-straight week.
In the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Top 25 national poll, the Cougars are ranked at No. 6 to tie its highest ranking ever in this poll. BYU’s opponent this week, Santa Clara, is ranked at No. 21 in the NSCAA poll.
The NSCAA also releases regional rankings in which the Cougars are ranked No. 1 in their West Region.
The Cougars are ranked in the TopDrawerSoccer.com poll and Soccer America poll. In the TDS.com's Top 64 poll, the Cougars are ranked at No. 9 and in the Soccer America Top 25, BYU is at No. 4.
The Cougars’ No. 4 ranking is its highest all-time in any poll.
SoccerTimes.com also includes BYU in its Top 25 poll at No. 8.
BYU plays just one home game this week against No. 21 Santa Clara on Friday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. MDT.
