PROVO, Utah - The No. 9/6 BYU women's soccer team will play its first of three home games this Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. MDT against the Utah Valley University Wolverines.

Jaiden Thornock and Michele Murphy are leading the squad with five goals apiece. Thornock's 37 shots also lead the team.

BYU goalkeeper Erica Owens has recorded 941 minutes in front of the net this year and made 35 saves.

The Wolverines travel to South Field with a 1-8-1 record and on a four-straight game losing streak. Their last loss came against Seattle University in a 2-4 final.

Regan Benson leads the squad with four goals and 24 shots. Four of her teammtes join her in recording double-digit shots and 10 others have tallied at least one shot on the year.
