PROVO, Utah - The BYU women's soccer team is now 4-0-1 in the 2012 spring season after its most recent wins came on the road last weekend.

The Cougars played two games at Arizona State against Arizona and ASU in a spring tournament.

In game one against Arizona, forward Carlee Payne scored both goals for the win. The first goal came off a corner kick from teammate Niki Fernandes and the second from defender Dana Oldroyd to lead Payne in a 1-vs-1 against the keeper.

Game two, against Arizona State, proved to be a tougher matchup. The Cougars and Sun Devils played a back-and-forth first half but the score was 0-0 as the teams left the field for halftime. After a shot was deflected late in the second half from Jessica Ringwood, Fernandes followed up and got the gamewinner.

Up next for the Cougars is a game at UNLV on March 24. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
