NSCAA College Team Academic Award Announced
PROVO, Utah - Following the 2011 BYU women's soccer team, the Cougars were awarded a NSCAA College Team Academic Award for maintaining a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2010-11 academic year.
Head coach Jennifer Rockwood's commitment to academics helped her team acheive a 3.21 cumulative team GPA and junior Carlee Payne receive a Scholar All-America nomination for her excellence throughout the season in the classroom and on the field.
BYU's 3.21 is tied for fourth-highest in the West Coast Conference.
