Conference Play Continues on The Road
The BYU women's soccer team continues to plow through conference play this week with two games on the road against No. 13 Santa Clara on Thursday, Oct. 13, and Gonzaga on Saturday, Oct. 15.
The Cougars are coming off a win over Portland and loss against No. 5 Pepperdine last week to kick off their inagural season in the WCC. Lindsi Lisonbee and Jennie Marshall scored for BYU against Portland with Marshall netting the gamewinner.
Lisonbee is one of 42 players on the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy Watch List for this season after earning second-team NSCAA All-America honors as a sophomore.

Marshall's four goals this season lead the team with Lisonbee, Carlee Payne and Jaiden Thornock also contributing on three apiece. Eight different players have recorded double-digit shots so far this year. Last season, seven players finished the year with double-digit shots.
Senior goalkeeper McKinzie Olson has now posted over 1,200 minutes in front of the net, making 47 saves and adding three shutouts. Olson is just six saves away from becoming BYU's all-time career saves leader and eight shutouts away from becoming the all-time shutouts career leader.
Santa Clara will be the fourth team BYU plays with a Top-25 ranking this season. The Broncos (8-4-1, 1-0) are riding a five-game win streak behind freshman Sofia Huerta's five goals and 40 shots this year. Huerta scored both goals in Santa Clara's first WCC victory of the year to defeat Saint Mary's.
The Bulldogs (7-4-2, 0-0-2) host the Cougars, putting their five-game unbeaten streak on the line. Sarah Rhodes and Emma Dolcetti lead the offense with four goals apiece and combine for 62 shots on the year. Gonzaga returns five starters to a team that finished fourth in the conference last season.
Online video and live stats are available for both games through the BYU women's soccer schedule page.
