Provo, Utah - With the 2011 women's soccer season fast approaching, the West Coast Conference and BYUtv have announced the games they will be airing live throughout the season for fans to see the Cougars in action.

The WCC announced today that the October 6 game between BYU and the University of Portland has been chosen to be a part of the seventh season of the NSCAA's College Game of the Week on FOX Soccer. The program features outstanding matches between some of the top NCAA Division I men's and women's teams, making Thursday and Friday nights the premier viewing destination for intercollegiate soccer fans. The Cougars and Pilots kick off in Provo at 7 p.m. MT.

Six additional soccer games have also been announced as part of BYUtv's live sports schedule for the fall. On August 23, BYU will face Utah; three days later BYUtv will broadcast the Cougars' game against Miami (FL). In September, BYUtv will broadcast games against Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 2), Arizona (Sept. 5), Rice (Sept. 10) and Idaho (Sept. 20).

Cougar fans will have the opportunity to see seven of the 11 soccer home games on national television this upcoming season
