Cougar Women and Final NCAA Stats

PROVO, Utah (March 16, 2010 ) - Individually, and as a team, the Cougars were ranked in ten different NCAA categories at the end of the 2009 season.

In 2009 the Cougars played in 11 home games in front of a total of 21,279 fans. With an average home attendance of 1,934, the Cougars are ranked fourth for their average attendance in the nation among all Division I women's soccer programs.

For their 2009 performance, the Cougar squad also received many other top rankings in the NCAA. The following are team rankings from the NCAA:

#98 -- 24 games, 38 goals averaging 1.58 goals per game

#12 -- 24 games, 15 goals allowed 2263 minutes played

Averaging .596 goals allowed per game

#25 -- 24 games, 13 shutouts averaging .542 shutouts

#10 -- 18 wins-4 losses-2 ties, Winning 79.2 percent of all games
