Payne Recognized for Freshman Season

PROVO -- Freshman Carlee Payne was recognized by Soccer America with a nomination to their 2009 All-Freshman first team.

Payne, a Danville, Calif. native, started all 24 games for the Cougars and finished the season as an integral part of the Cougar offense, leading the team with 13 goals and 56 shots.

Payne was the only freshman from the Mountain West Conference to be honored.
