Cougars Face Horned Frogs in First Round
PROVO -- The BYU Women's soccer team (14-3-2, 4-3-0) enters the Mountain West Conference Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will take on TCU (8-10-0, 3-4-0), the No. 6 seed in the tournament, in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at South Stadium.
The Cougars are ranked second in the nation in goals-against average (.406), fourth in shutout percentage (.632), and eighth in save percentage (.882). The team is also 19th in won-loss-tied percentage (.789).
BYU scored a season-high four goals against the Horned Frogs in a 4-1 victory in Provo earlier this season. The winner of the match will face No. 2 seeded San Diego State (9-7-3, 4-2-1) on Thursday in a semifinal match at 4 p.m. at South Stadium.
All-day ticket prices are $5 for seniors and students, and $7 for adults. A single pass to all five games is $12 for seniors and students, and $15 for adults. Tickets will be available at the gate. Children five years of age and under get in free.
