No. 21 BYU loses to No. 4 Nebraska 2-0
LINCOLN -- In only their second meeting ever, No. 21 BYU lost at No. 4 Nebraska 2-0, Wednesday. The loss drops BYU to 8-5-1 on the season and Nebraska improves to 10-2-0.
Nebraska scored a goal in each half to pick up the win. The Cornhuskers out shot BYU 22-9.
"We played a very, very good team tonight," said heach coach Jennifer Rockwood. "We had some good moments in both halves which gave us some good chances to score. We are looking forward to finish our MWC schedule and post-season play."
The Cougars return home this weekend to resume Mountain West Conference play against New Mexico, Friday with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at South Field.
