BYU records second shutout of the year in 3-0 victory over Minnesota.

Evanston, Ill. (September 8, 2001) Kelly Hunsberger scored first in a well-balanced attack 30 minutes into the game with a nice header off an assist from Sarah Higham Yee. With just 1:47 left in the half, Yee scored herself from a nice pass by Kimmie Davis. Kimmie Davis finished the scoring with her first collegiate goal off an assist from fellow freshman Kim Devine with eight minutes left in the game.

"We played with more intensity and more desire. We also had a good work rate which made good things happen," said BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood. "Everybody played solid and we are pleased that three different players scored.

The 2-1-0 Cougars stay in Evanston to play Northwestern on Monday afternoon.
