Coach Jennifer Rockwood Quotes

(On the Cougars) We're doing well right now. We got off to a slow start in the USC game and we had problems finding the net. Our midfield players Sara, Natalyn and Jennie played an outstanding game. In the game with CS Fullerton we played well but for some reason struggled to get goals. We're still outplaying our opponents and that's a good positive for us.

(On opponents) We'll have our hands full this weekend with two teams that were in last year's NCAA tournament. Washington returns all of its starters. They have a tough schedule this year and have always b een a strong team in the Pac-10.

Pacific always has a solid program even though this year they lost some starters. They won their conference last season and will be a big challenge for us.

Up Next for the Cougars

BYU stays at home aft er the games with Washington and Pacific for a Wednesday Sept. 29 evening game against Weber State.
